Cassiopeia2018-2019

We have been very busy this week with our end of term assessments. The children have been amazing and have really shown how much progress we have made this year together so far! I am super proud of all of them. In our writing we have been using Target Tokens. Each time they felt they had met their target in their writing they place a token on their writing to show their efforts.

In RE we have been thinking about trusting God and faith. We have been reading the story of Abraham and Issac and acted it out.

This week in Science we have been learning about vertebrates and invertebrates. We sorted living creatures according to the criteria for these groups. We then reviewed each others learning.

I hope everyone has received their child's login details for Times Tables Rockstars.  We have really enjoyed playing it it class, it is a really good way to speed up times tables learning and consolidation. The National Currriculum states that children should know their X tables up to 12X12 by the end of Year 4. Using this is the perfect way to do this and is part of Cassiopeia's Home Learning. I am regularly checking the children's' progress.
